Import guitars with Schaller FR-II

Has anyone modded a import jackson that came with the JT580LP with a schaller FR-II i was wanting to see how it looks in the route.

I have (although it was the Schaller stamped one) - and yes, it does leave a gap in the route. I have no pics that show it clearly, and I've since sold the guitar - but here is one:



Bear in mind that the picture is taken from an angle, so it doesn't show the gap in all its "glory" - but we're talking about half an inch here.

Thanks sunbane ive a rough idea now of how it looks. I suppose due to the low tunings i use the pins under the fine tuners would have enough room when i move the saddle back for the intonation so i dont think the gap would look that bad
