Yes, Steve Vai's axe in crossroads was a charvel. Supposedly, people say it was a jackson...and the name was taped off due to some idea Michael Jackson was linked to devil worship? I don't see the connection. Aside from that, I freeze framed it a thousand times, there's a SD Charvel neck plate on that axe.

Of course, there exists at least one thread about this. JCFers went over screenshots carefully. IIRC it was concluded to be a Jackson with a Charvel plate (?).
