Newc, mind giving letting us know where that button is? I can't read Japanese.

BTW: That is one badass looking KV. How does that new Kahler compare to the older ones?

[/ QUOTE ]
Heh, unfortunately I wouldn't know cuz this is the first time I've had a Kahler. As you can see, my Warrior has the floyd so...

"Jackson Stars that craftsman in Japan created up based on good quality Zai, parts, and certain technology and knowhows. "Through problem structure" in which the problem goes through the body offers marvelous Rongsasten, a dynamic cooking stove, and the highest play ability."
Why can't we get a decent guitar with a dynamic cooking stove here in the states?

No import taxes into America from Japan or Canada (and Mexico I assume).

Ikebe has a "Inquire for more info" type button with a form you fill out (name, email, item#, etc).

[/ QUOTE ] I can't read Japanese either, can't find any such button...Little help...???

I also like how the "problem goes through the body" and causes "Rongsasten".

https://www.ikebe-gakki.com/mail/mail_formA.php

This is the link to the mail form page.. it's in Japanese, but it goes in this order:

The item about which you are inquiring is: New/Used/Either

The name of the item:

Price range(yen): *not required*

Name

E-mail address

Questions/Comments

The bottom blue table is survey info:
Sex, date of birth, number of years playing your instrument, and favorite artist.
No need to fill that out, really.

Well, it's kinda like a cross between Ebony and Rosewood, but it has that shine to it. And also unlike rosewood which has that grainy feel to it, this striped ebony feels smooth as hell. Actually, it almost feels like Maple.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but can you really get this guitar: http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/we...p=JAEN&wb_dis=2 for Y69900, which equates to about UK£350 or so?

That's an unbelievable price! I paid almost UK£800 for my KV4 a few years back, and it looks to be fairly similar!

Yeah I guess you can, but it's probably better to just buy a KV-J2 which probably wouldn't be more than $200 from that one. And with the KV-J2, you'll get the striped ebony, and some real Duncans.
