Re: Just got my DKMGT
Here's one for ya teznic.........my DK2 is almost 2 years old. After reading your post I checked mine out. Mine has a slight blemish on the binding at the tip of the headstock. I never noticed it. When I got mine from Musician's Friend I came packed just like yours. There was a hairline split in the binding around the 10th to the 13th frets. After playing the hell out of it my hand has smoothed it out. I have had 2 Ibanez guitars with neck biniding and they suffer from binding cracks and gaps alot worse than on any Jackson. If you want total perfection..........well, custom shop is the way to go. I have seen alot of USA Select series Jacksons with some of the same problems as far as blemishes go. The tip of any Jackson headstock is usualy the first to go. Keep the trans green one you got. If it has a little binding issue.........no big deal. That's the first of many dings to come. Keep the green one dude!
