Re: SL-3 Trem

I´ve had some JT580LP´s on japanese Jacksons, and mine have had some serious wear after a couple of years. They are fine when they are new, but imho they won´t hold up in the long run.

I must have got a faulty trem then. I've had my RR3 since July this year and already it wont stay in tune at all. So i'm having to take it back this week, which im not happy about.

That doesn´t seem right, but I´ve seen some japanese guitars with serious trem-problems. For example; a friend of mine ordered a KE3 in february or march this year, and it had the tremposts mis-aligned (causing the trem to squeek and bind and go horribly out of tune). I´ve never seen the guitar myself, but that was how he described it. Of course he got a replacement, but none the less there was a serious problem that had evaded qualitycontrol.
