Odd colored DKMGT

Hi everyone! My first post here, have been hanging around the board for a while now, looking at some serious guitar porn and growing my GAS towards quality Jacksons [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] .

Anyway, I found this on eBay:

Sunburst DKMGT

The seller says it's a DKMGT, and it sure looks like one, but the color seems a bit odd. I checked the Jackson website and it only lists four solid colors and two transparent finish options, no sunburst of any kind.

Is it some sort of limited edition DKMGT out of production, or something? Too bad the seller doesn't ship to europe, else I might be getting it. Would be a nice axe to play with until I manage to get myself a USA Jackson in the (hopefully not too distant) future. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
That sunburst really looks great with black hardware..

That's a DKMGT alright. Very, very nice guitars. I used to own one. It's great deal at that price.

dkmgt's in that colour are discontinued (well, at least in the uk anyway). don't think, just get it. by coincidence, i was playing one in a shop today - trans red. very tasty looking and in sound. but i'm awkward, so i'd buy a DKMG (JT580 bridge) when i can. shame jackson axed the trans-green/blue(/red?) WRMG. all i could get was trans-black and NO carved top.

Yeah, I would if the seller would ship to europe. I wonder why that color was discontinued, looks awesome IMO.

I have one. Don't care for the tone at all. Tried many different Pu's and still don't like the sound. Replaced the Pots since they were nice and scratchy with some CTS, but still don't like the sound. See a trend here? What kind of wood is this anyway. Alder, Basswood? It's a looker and the neck is great, but I just can't get a decent sound out of her.
