Pickup mounting ring dimensions (Mod 4)

First, let me apologize if this has been covered before. I have a Model 4 body that I've noticed has slightly larger dimensions for the bridge humbucker mounting ring than what I think is normal. Can anyone confirm this? Even better, does anyone have a ring that would fit this beast?

I still think you should make a brass "RR" truss cover plate, Dave.

Actually yes, I'm working on getting those done for a few people. One of the problems is that there are different versions of those covers with different "R" fonts and I'm not sure which one to use! [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Hopefully I can find someone to do the engraving for a decent price too because so far it's not cost effective. Hopefully soon though!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have a Jackson Kelly KE3 and the neck pick up surround is very thin and has cracked and is falling apart. I went to my local music store and they have one that is slanted from rear to front and it is wider than my pick up surround.

I will return it when I get the chance.
