I think both the DXMG and SLSMG use all EMG HZ-3 in both positions.

the h4's are suppose to sound like the emg 81's but the h3's sound real similar as well and I have tryed em out as well back to back with the 81's , I am gonna get h4's for my KE3R soon as well , I am really impressed with the hz series they are made in the states and sound better than most of the duncan stuff I have played light years better than the duncan designed stuff to , and they sound killer clean as well , and Like any emg pick up they cut through awesome ! //Steve

says right on there site I was reading last night that the h4's are the passive versoin to the emg 81's , but the h3 sound really similar as well even the way they decribe em http://www.emgpickups.com/displaypro...&catalogid=164 //Steve
