This is an awsome idea, the bigger Music store in my area sells the cheap Warlocks by the busload, people who are getting a first/second guitar are gonna be looking for something that looks cool, so they'll snatch these up like candy!

Newc: I got to play one of those Jazz'R SE's. The neck is one of those hard V shapes. Not good at all. Aside from that...

atomic charvel guy: The problem is that is I have Easton Guitars on one side of me and Sully guitars on the other. I'm just completely fucked.

Re: NAMM preview...

I like the new line based on what I see! I might finally be able to afford a non-Floyd Rose Kelly after all.

Question - Maybe I missed it earlier in this thread, but what country is the new line being made in? I LOVE Japanese Jacksons... best value for the money I've seen so far.

Another question - What other new Jackson guitars (besides this line) will be at NAMM? Post links if you got 'em.

Part of the HC article states:

"comes with a fixed bridge and string-through-body tailpiece, a feature that...has been only available on custom order instruments up until now. "

Uhhhhh, !

What are the DKMGT, RR5, KVX10, DK27, JJ2, SLSMG,
chopped liver?

Re: NAMM preview...

Well, it says "Press Release" and there's a similarly worded PR at

http://www.musicgearreview.com/article-display/847.html

so I'm gonna guess somebody at FMIC made the mistake. Possibly this John Walker fella, Marketing Manager for Jackson Guitars (?).

I guess it's neither here nor there.

Someone answer my earlier quesions, please.

AFAIK, Japan. The current JS1 & JS20 are still made in India, but I'm pretty sure the JS30 is Japanese. I can find out tomorrow for sure, but the clues for right now are:

-JS30 in the '03 catalog has the closer-spaced 12th fret dots

-BlackMariah loves the JS30, and I'm pretty sure he *doesn't* love MII Jacksons!
