new x series warrior

alrite,
i'm currently playing a '96 (i think- serial no is 9603188) RRX that came with jackson pups, and i'm gonna get one or two more guitars- one i'm thinking of is a new warrior XT. i'm just wondering how it'll compare with the rhoads. i'm gonna replace the pups anyway (probably dimarzio x2n) so i'm mainly worried about build quality

I've got a WRXT body with a USA neck and the body is very resonant. It sounds great acoustically, and USA Duncans make it sound even better amplified. The body is very well made.
Not sure about the WRXT neck, though, as I bought the body separately off Ebay, but I assume it's good too.

i have a new 2003 wrxt and this guitar is better than my friend 2003 rr3(fret work,body to neck "lineup"....so dont worrie about it. every thing is perfect(neck,body)the pups and the pots are cheap...but if you cange them this guitar would be juste fine

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah...Newc and I owned one identical to Daniel Mongrains Warrior. It's more of a Pearloid red...kinda hard to explain unless you see it in person.

i saw martyr live so i know what it looks like.. it was an almost orangey kinda red.. beautiful axe

i'd love to get my hands on one of those warrior pros

what colors did they make them in?

i know for a fact daniel mongrain bought his for 700$ canadian (about 500 US) not a bad deal!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I think I've owned one (the Pro series) in every color they've made them in. I think 5 solid colors (Black/white/red/cobalt blue/yellow/)
...and 3 or 4 pearls (that Pearl red/white pearl/candy blue)

Daniel got a great deal on his!...Was it modified BEFORE of after he got it?

i think after

his job is a session musician, so i think he did it specifically for that.. i know he had to have got the thing around 1994 because he has it on ALL of the martyr material including the 1994 ostrogoth demo

so i assume he probably got it done himself.. or maybe he did it himself?
