EMG-HZ's, but what model?

What model of EMG-HZ's are stock in Black DXMG's? Are they H3/H3A, or H4/H4A? They are not tagged on the back. It just says EMG INC MADE IN USA and the 5 prongs of the plug are labeled. Thanks.

They are the H3.

The H3A has a "warmer" tone, more Gibson-esque with less highs, due to the magnet type.

The H3 uses a ceramic magnet.

My DXMG had H3 tag on the back of both pickups.

Mine came with H3's, ceramic magnets f spaced. You can tell by the color of the emg logo.For the Hz's silver logo for ceramic, gold logo for alinco.
