Re: lousy distribution in europe (just ranting away...)

called the dealer today to either get me the guitar or get me back my dough... he would call and see what the deal was, after some waiting I called again and he was awaiting a call from the distributor... still awaiting his call. shop closes in about an hour so no answer today is me getting no rhoads and getting back the money.

so far this has been the crappiest deal ever and I am a regular customer there for almost ten years now, so I do trust the dealer somewhat...
more to follow soon...(in about an hour or two)

my friends black rr-3 would be delivered within the next two weeks... ordered 5/11/03 we're glad allready we get the guitars anyway... my friend was considering getting a bcrich instead (I talked him into jackson ) and I was thinking of getting back my money... I think it'll be the only CS in a WIDE range around...

Guys, if you order from an american dealer you save a lot of money and probably get the guitar faster. First, guitars are more competitively priced in the US, so you get a better discount. Second, the dollar is weak so you can add another 25% discount on. Even after paying for customs, you still end up saving a lot of money.

Then, if you order from someone like Easton, they really take care of you and get the guitar out in a day or so and in two to four days it arrives at your doorstep.

Re: lousy distribution in europe (just ranting away...)

hi,

I live in the UK, and i ordered a USA Jackson Black SL2H (which had to be made for me especially) a month ago from an American dealer, Vwall Guitars , and the dealer emailed me this week and said it is ready to ship to him 7-10 days, if i was you i would order off a American dealer when ordering a USA series or other, but this seems to be a problem with Jackson mainly and they need to sort it. There are distrubution problems here in the UK for a while with Jacksons, for about a year in fact. why i chose to use a American dealer, you save alot of money, and the service from the dealer I have used has been by far execellent as they will have better contact with Jackson, I get information straight away when i ask for it, and of course you should get that no question when handing over hundreds or thousands of pounds/dollars

Its sad when you get a dealer who couldnt give a crap about your order and i have had experience with that, also when you have spent lots of your hard earned money on a guitar you have wanted for ages. I hope your order comes soon, and i do feel for your problem. Its just a frustrating situation

well gotta call again tomorrow, all I get for an answer now is 'it's on the verge of coming in'and I asked him for the price of a trans blue rr-3 last week and he tried to sell me an esp ltd...

and I couldn't get my money back because I ordered a guitar etc... if he doesn't come up with a guitar in may, which(correct me on this one ron ) was initally the set out deliverydate he WILL lose a few customers. Just don't get it, whytry and shove me an ltd up my arse when he knows all I want are Jacksons... it's getting fishy to me

my friend got a used RR1 w/ floyd for $730 US dollars. dont you think 800+ euros is kinda steep for an RR3?

Was the Crimson Swirl extra also?

the crimson swirl and eerie dess swirl go for 660€ salesprice and an emg costs 150€ to be installed and 20€ for the locks. so all in all I got a decent deal. Only have to grow old ere I get it

Well 10 days to go and after that, if they fail to deliver again, Jackson screws up tiwce on delivering my rr-3

sold my kelly allready dude to backproblems (too heavy when playing a few hours), and the Ibeenhad 7stringer the dealer lent me to play on 'till the rr comes in... hate the friggin' critter, even heavier than the kelly! and it plays like a pos(to my opinion)
