  • DR3 Body's and OFR

I have a DR3 body and want to know will an OFR work with the existing posts and trem spacing? They seem to line up.

Hey Jack ive just installed a Schaller Floyd in my KE3 The i used the bushings & posts that came with the new schaller & didnt need to drill the holes or anything. Its pretty easy to remove the old bushings all i used was some padding/foam to protect the body & a claw hammer to pull them right out. Post spacing on the OFR & schaller trems are identical, i think there 74.3mm mine fits the posts perfect so theres no reason why yours should be different i had a JT580LP on my KE3 too.Ive seen a pic on here of a DK2 i think it was & the OFR looked ok There was quite a noticeable gap between the baseplate & the side of the route & the problem of the end pins touching the rear of the route or even stopping the trem pulling up. i dont have that with the schaller as the baseplate is 2mm wider & theres no long end pins. im thinking of putting the OFR in my Warrior the only thing im concerned about is that shorter baseplate so might get another Schaller instead but would like the OFR as a change. Hope this is of some help to you.
