Yup - DK27. Only thing, they don't have a tremolo option.
Soooooo, I put a Warmoth Baritone Conversion neck on a Charvel 375 body (takes a 22 fretter, and Warmoth's 24 fret baritone neck is made for 22 fret bodies) and it can take a Floyd

Just gotta cut the platform for the nut (when I get the courage up )

Picture it: an Amber Flametop Baritone with an OFR

Re: Muhahahahahaha

I have a custom shop made one just like that I bought from a JCF member here.
Mine has a 5way switch, non reversed headstock and has ebony fingerboard.
Also the tone knob is a kill switch

It plays great but what I don't dig much is the body seems too light or small and the neck is heavy.
So when I use a strap, the head goes lower.

Re: Muhahahahahaha

First thing I did before I tuned it up was to put the straplocks on it. When I played it, no nose-diving...

I actually thought it was going to be blue, but I was pleasantly surprised at this purple color... But I've gotta say, it's not going to last much longer... As I said, I've got big plans for it. When I'm done you'll have a hard time believing that it's the same guitar.

Re: Muhahahahahaha

What's the neck like on those things? Are they super thin like the Wizard necks? That is becoming my only complaint about my RG1527 is that the neck is really thin. I do prefer a thicker neck. Also, what is a good price for one of those with the string-through? I may try to pick one up for a second 7.

Re: Muhahahahahaha

The front to back it's relatively thin and flat, but top to bottom this sucker is wide, then again, that's what I expect from a 7-string.

Don't you think that Jackson could at least make some longer sharkies for those necks?? Those just look too small. Now if it had binding.....

nice score tekky I have played a couple of blk ones with the same hardware as that [the older satin chrome stuff] , I think they were best from that time ? the new ones seem fatter [the necks]//Steve

It's just like the Ibanez Wizard II neck I have on my PGM30 (which is 2mm thicker than a Wizard). Very comfortable neck. I was pleasantly surprised at how my DR7 sounds different than my DR3 (I though it was going to sound the same except for having a Low B string). The string thru body thing adds a bit more bass all around Japanese Jacksons are TREMENDOUS!

Never heard one in the neck, though. What other mods are you looking at?
