And I just realized that I forgot to change the locking nut from chrome to black. Oh well!

Re: Regarding the limited run custom import.

I highly doubt that the picture I posted will ever get made into an import since I went totally crazy and chose USA type features. But thanks for the compliments.

I personally would LOVE to have the HSH pickup config like I put in the picture since Jackson currently doesn't have any of those, but as long as it as more than just one bridge hum, I'm happy. I know others feel differently though... that's why there's the white maple fretboard one posted at the top of the Import Jackson forum!

I'm not sure about the camo color that I picked... I just went to Google and searched for "winter camo" and "winter camouflage" and I ended up with that. I actually used this:

        http://www.webundies.com/images/mk866xb.jpg

Yeah, they're shorts!!!! I chose an area on the shorts where it didn't have any sewing seams so that it just looks like a sheet of camo which was good for the guitar.

Here are some more camo templates that are actually big enough for KISEKAE's templates for you guys to play around with... but you might have to stretch/shrink them for them to fit the way you like them. For the ones that aren't in JPG format, Hit ALT+PRINTSCREEN, paste into MS Paint, save it as a JPG, upload it to the web, and link it from there.

Re: Regarding the limited run custom import.

This time, I made it closer to Zeegler's specs. So, I got rid of the binding/purfling, the middle pickup, and the inlays. Instead, I changed the Floyd to a TOM/string-thru, put a 3-way switch instead of the blade switch, and arranged the controls like the SL2H. So, this might almost be an SL2HT, except import and bolt-on, making it a Dinky version of the SL2HT. Still looks wicked to me.

I'd be in for the winter camo, but I'd be out if it goes 1 hum.

Zeegs, don`t get down man, it is still in the early stages and people are just getting excited about features they think up. When you are ready for YOUR idea, post it when you think the time is right and people will have to get it your way, or it just doesn`t happen, but set your specs and stick with them, it just may happen Jack.

If you guys look at this thread from back in the summer, you can see some people's wicked designs. Everybody went crazy with the KISEKAE program and posted their results, although half of the links no longer exist now. Enjoy!

1H, short scale & camo all sounds great. Gotta have my Floyd though. (I'd like sharkfins and having the 1H slanted too, but I don't wanna sound too demanding. )

Re: Regarding the limited run custom import.

As was stated earlier, spec out your idea as close to final as possible, and see who wants it as-is. Anyone who doesn't want it as-is (i.e. all you guys who are saying you want this or that different than what was spec'd) can go find their own party

Who knows, you might find another idea from someone else that you'd rather be in on

Of course, that's not to suggest anyone (everyone) should start a new thread or poll full of Kisekae mockups and start rampant voting.

                          Newc

p.s. Here's an actual Winter Camo:

It's the fabric I used on the King V.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I was also wondering if Jackson Japan will do Set-Neck Jacksons? I never hear much talk about these, but I sure love set-neck guitars. Jack.

Yeah, sign me up for that. Jack, you're reading my mind (let's go for an archtop too). Why set neck over neck through, though? (Or is that what you mean?)
