• Regarding the limited run custom import.

I wasn't able to come up with the funds this time around, and to be honest, the white/maple board didn't stir my loins.

Of course, when you guys actually get the guitars and post pics, I know I will kick myself in the buttocks for not getting in on the deal.

Anyhoo, if anyone is interested, I have an idea for next year if we decide to do this again.

Give me your opinions on the following:

Fusion
Camo finish w/matching headstock.
Two hum
String through.
Ebony board
No inlays

I'm not picky about what kind of pickups, and also I don't really care about what colour camo pattern it is. Desert would be cool though.
Sleep!!, That's where I'm a viking!!

Sorta like this, but like I said, desert camo would look awesome.

I'd be in for that, except for the finish.

I generally like bright and/or metallic colors on Jacksons (Pearl Yellow, etc...) and the occasional graphic. I might like a different camo pattern, though.

I'm pretty sure custom imports can only really be slight variations of regular import models, not new designs entirely (ie. the shorter scale, because then they can't use the same necks and stuff)

I may do it with a Tunamatic Stopbar bridge or a JT-580 Trem(preferably), but with a JT-580 Trem and a Single Humbucker, I would deffinately be in I love that Camo Jack.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Who said we have to wait until next year? What I'm saying is the one humbucker DK2 isn't going to get here before June. At least that's what I heard, 90 days. It may come before then, but I'm not holding my breath. I think once everyone get their DK2 and the pics & opinions start coming in more people are going to want to get involved in doing something. For what the one humbucker DK2 costs, I can see getting something else in the not too distant future.

Re: Regarding the limited run custom import.

Well, I really guess it boils down to whether they will be able to do a Fusion. I assume they still have all the templates and everything for Fusions, but whether they would be willing to dust them off for a custom limited run, is another thing entirely.

I did manage to find some better camo patterns on the net, but they are in rather odd colours, so they're going to need some manipulating.

Nice pattern, but very odd colours. Kinda reminds me of the Lynch submarine colours.

White/grey/black would be super cool.
