Hi there some-one help me....... I was recently given a black strat type charvel, with a rosewood neck, a maple 6-in-line headstock, strat-style pick-ups (including humbucker in the bridge). apparently (im not sure about this) it is or was some kind of mitch maloy model, but all it says on the haedstock is "charvel" . I would like to know what kind of model this is & if it's worth fixing up . unfortunately i have no pics as some dick-head dropped my camera on sat nite . I would welcome any comments.

cheers

Is there a pickguard on it? What kind of trem does it have? And whats the log on the headstock? Is it the uitar shaped logo or the more script style logo?
Is the finger board maple too? and what are the finger board inlays 22 or 24 fret neck?
What do the pickups say on them if anything?

If all it says is Charvel on the head, it's a Model model and belongs in the Import Charvel section.

Re: unidentified guitar

Well gee, call me crazy, but if the guitar you're discussing is a Charvel (and doesn't have "Made in USA" on the headstock), then hmmmm, maybe it should go in the IMPORT CHARVEL forum?? Rather than the IMPORT JACKSON forum?

g man...look at this page

http://www.jcfonline.com/ubb/noncgi/ultimatebb.php

There are 16 separate forums you can post in. I'm not gonna even bother asking why you chose the Import Jackson forum to post a thread about your Charvel...and just because I like ya...I'll advise you to check your attitude..lest ye be banned....but if you can hang...I'll just taunt you with more pics and graemlins ...maybe we can have a friendly little war...thereby jacking your post count up to 100...at which point you'll be allowed to sell that Charvel!
