• Serial # on Professionals? please help!

hi bors,
i found a jackson pro but i´m not sure which year it was build.
the facts of the axe are:
it is a bolt-on 24 fret neck with rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, H/S/H PU-configuration, i know it has a FR trem but i don´t know what typ it is, and it says professional on the headstock.

i found out by myself:

it could be a Fusion SX or a DX2.

so my question is about the serial# which starts with: 21****

does anybody know what productionyear this is?

thanx alot.

I do not believe it could be a 1992. In that year, there were no dual hum/single coil mid bolt on Jackson Pro guitars. Besides, all of those early Pro guitars had ebony boards and mother of pearl inlays.

H-s-H was on those Stealth things, right? I know they did like one Dinky that way in the mid-late 90s (95 or 98?) but that's about it AFAIK.

Nah, I only embarrass myself around these parts, not anyone else

I'm not very good at the later Pro series only the originals. But the first (real) Stealths were sing/sing/hum. There were no dual hum with middle single coil Pro models in the original series.

i won the auction, and when she arrives we will see what guitartyp it is.

in the 1994 cataloge there are professionals with rosewood listet.

I wish my guitars had a tone "poti." Sounds dirty, but I like it!

The internal part is called "pot"

The part you turn is a "knob"

Hey thats my guitar !

I posted a thread about a year ago asking if anyone knew what model my import Jackson was and nobody knew... that guitar you say is a fusion SX is exactly the same as mine, only mine is snow white in colour. Serial on mine is 215132, which puts mine extremely close in date to yours !
Can anyone else confirm that these guitars are in fact Fusion SX's ? I was of the understanding that Fusions were the smaller scale 23.75inch, am i right ? when i measured mine it was standard scale length... I really wish i knew what my guitar is...

it is defenetly a fusion sx!
i took a look in the neckpocket and there you can read "FU - SX".
so, take of the neck and have a look.

the scale is like racerX said 24.75.
