What Jackson body did I just purchase and will my neck and hardware from a PS-4 fit?

I have a PS-4 with a scratched up body and I wanted to know if this body that I bought would bolt on with no real problems (ie. scale length and Floyd Rose)

Take what I say with little seriousness, because I am most likely talking outta my arse, but that looks very much like a Fusion body. If I am correct, and it is a Fusion body, it is useless to you. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]

If the lower horn is scalloped, it most likely is a Fusion body.

It looks like it has the tapered neck joint in the pics, definitely doesn't have the scallop on the rear like the fusions I've seen. Hmmmm.........

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Both of my string-thru Dinkies have the tapered neck heal like that, they have the scalloped lower horn, but they don't have the scallop in the rear. The two Dinky Reverses I had, had the same specs, except they did have the scallop on the rear under the neck plate.

Wouldn't the tell-tale sign off a Fusion be the mini toggle switch that would located between a volume and tone pot?

Wouldn't a fusion have two knobs in addition to the selector switch? The pics in the auction are kinda bad, but it looks like a one knob layout.

About the Fusions and the mini toggle - I've seen Fusions with them as well as without them.

According to the seller "This is a full size body. Some measurements: top 17 1/2 long, neck pocket 2 3/16 x 2 7/8, old neck measures 26 1/2 heel to end of headstock"

Does this mean that it is indeed a standard strat scale after all?

I think you might be okay. I just measured my fusion neck, and it's 26 inches tip to tail. Keep your fingers crossed.

No heel scallop doesn't necessarily mean it's not a Fusion though. My Fusion Special has the tapered heel, and the lower horn scallop.

Worse still, it could be a Charvette 270RR body. It is EXACTLY the same.

Dinkys have the lower horn scallop as well. I've got 3 dinkys with it and 1 fusion without it.
