Yeah, I forgot to mention that I reccomend it too. Mine will be getting a Dimarzio X2N soon. But the Duncan Designed are OK to start with.

Here's my Hot Rodded Hot Rod DK2 - replaced the neck with a maple boarded, reverse headed Fleckstone Dinky neck, added a neck humbucker, and put on an original Floyd Rose.

I love that neck. Is it a custom job, or where can they be found?

It's a maple/maple neck from a mid-90's Dinky I got off Ebay last year or so - look around for a granite-finish import Dinky (Fleckstone), and that's the neck
It feels hugely wide - like a freeway compared to a residential street

The blooddrip inlays are clear window decals I printed out and stuck on there
I was trying for flames, but that didn't work right, so I did blood

Man, are those all DK2s? You have got a nice collection of gear bro. The rest of you too, thank you for posting your DK2 pics. Anyone have there's from the side of the neck, I wanna get an idea of its width.

To Newc: Dude that is a nice guitar. However, what interests me the most is what I think is an H/S/H config. If it is, how much did it cost to do that bro? Also, did you have to cut the body to make space, if so, what kind of skill and labor was needed for that? I have always looked for a H/S/H Jackson, but none of them are easy to find in a lefty.

Also, guys a bit off topic, does anyone have an idea how much costs to add a coil-tapping system to a guitar. Not to mention the amount of skill and labor needed for it. Thanks all of you!

Thanks for the compliment, bro! I worked a LOT of long hours in order to buy it all, one piece at a time...Yeah, they are all basically DK-2's, the only difference is the letter designation they tag on the end of each one, signifying something with a special finish, or special electronics...So the only 'plain' one is the red one,(although that one feels and plays the best, in a tie with the DK2-BOF one with the flames...thank God each is my main guitar for a different tuning! The flames is drop-C and the red is in standard 440...) I will try to take some neck shots here in a day or so and post 'em up for you...They all feel great to me! Now, I am working on saving up finally for a USA select; probably take me a year to save that much, but I have enough to keep me content and patient till then! Yeah man, you deserve that compliment, I guess everyone does for having that much. However, I could also appreciate your hard work in getting the dough for it. Good job . I thank you in advance for the neck shots. Please do post them, as soon as you take them. Good luck on getting the USA Jackson. I'm sure you will get it soon enough. Take care!

Thanks for the picture Karmic, bro! Maybe its the extra large pictures or something, but isn't that neck a bit thick? People tell me that the neck of the DK2s are the their best aspect. Why exactly do they say that? Is it for its playability of construction? I'm looking to buy a guitar which will suit me for playing fast. Does the DK2 have a fast neck?

Also, is that action on your guitar considered to be good? I'm not very expereinced in these matters. Perhaps you can tell me what's right. Same goes for the thickness of the neck, maybe I just don't know how thick are the necks supposed to be. Once again, thank you for your pics. I appreciate it! Take care!
