A friend just Bought a Jackson Professional (made in japan)
Its like sl1 with Hum SD Invader and 2 SD HR single coil, Bolt-on neck, ebony fingerborad with mother of pearl inlay shark tooths.

I dunno if someone posted this yet but i'd like to know what u guys think and know about this professional series.

if it has an ebony fretboard, then it is an old professional. build around 1989 - 1992 i think.
what is the serial number?
with the bolt-on neck it could be a dinky or a fusion. what scale lenght does it has?

i own a professional soloist archtop from 1991 and this is an amazing guitar.
the pro-series these days were as good as the US made jackson.

we just tested it today and feels real good to me (I have a Sl1 USA) so..
Me too, i thought was an 80's JAckson!
There's a website where i can get more information about this old guitars?

It has to be a Fusion Pro from that description, as Jackson did not make a regular Dinky Pro with an ebony fretboard. The pickups have obviously been changed at some point. Nice guitar.

The Fusion PRO has a bound rosewood f/b.

Not the original Fusion Pro, Todd. The original Fusion Pro was in fact a bound ebony fingerboard. Later, lesser versions switched over to rosewood.
