Comparing it to my '03 SL2H, the necks are very similar in most aspects, but the SLSMG's neck is slightly smaller all around.

very nice axe ... I had my eye on a custom SLS earlier this year, I wish I had bought it.

Tell me, why the electrical tape over your strings behind your bridge? I have to guess it has something to do with damping vibration, right?
