Score! Firebird Proffessional!

Just got me a nice minty green Firebird Pro!
I got it for 3000 Swedish krona (about 235$) and it´s in good shape.
I think the kid who sold it didn´t like the color...
Actually he had three guitars. One low budget Ibenhad, one DX10, and this, wich he choosed to get rid of...

how does it play? i've got one coming pretty soon, but i know nothing about it except i like the shape. what is the control layout? what's the neck like? yours is pretty cool. i like that color...i wanted either that color or white, i got white.

Well, here´s a brief rewiew (especially for you MD!)
This guitar plays like butter! (The action might be a bit lowered though).
Really nice, but quite thick 22 fret neck. A bit neck-heavy though.
The pickups are Kent Armstrong distortion humbuckers - made specially for this guitar, and they actually sound pretty good.
You got a three way selector, one volume control and thats it.
Very nice body, and a overall nice quality feel.
Apparently the FB Pro series were only made in less than 100! I read this on Harmony central: Link
Atter that i e-mailed Kevin Easton about it, and got this reply:

"We didn't make a lot of them, under 100 for sure. But an exact # I don't know. All those records went with the sale, sorry. I do know we made more black than white and more white than mint green. Most had stop tails, more than floyds so chances are that there are less than 20 of those made."

It seems like theese guitars are pretty rare, so i guess one should keep them...
