• Jackson EX model?

I saw a Black Jap Jackson EX in a pawn shop, looked just like a strat with faceplate and same p/u config, Jackson/Floyd trem. I've seen a "Stealth EX" that looks identical to my JSX. Can anyone tell me something about this? How many EX models exist? It didn't look too impressive to me. Price was $275.

    Just curious.

Well, there was a Fusion EX, as well. I think "EX" denoted a mid-level Japanese Jackson, didn't? The "XL" was higher end--often with binding and sharkfins--like the Dinky XL and Kelly XL. But I'm not an expert--and Jackson really had a bewildering array of different product names back in the early-mid '90s. Not great marketing, in my opinion.

Must have been some kind of hybrid mutt. It had strat config single coils. No Schaller Trem. Dot inlays, just looked like a typical stratocaster.
