Idea for my next Jackson: Black JS30WR

I had already been researching Jackson part numbers for my King V project....also mm2002 gave me a good idea for "ebonizing" rosewood fretboards...so I'm batting around an idea for the Warrior I want to get:

"None More Black" JS30WR

1. Get a 290-0015-503 (black JS30WR)
2. Ebonize the fretboard (& dye the dots too!)
3. Order black hardware (tuners, knobs, JT-390)
4. Magic marker the ferrules [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Be kinda hard to play it I think with the fretboard up against yer stomach (especially one like the gut on RacerX [img]graemlins/poke.gif[/img] ) j/k........maybe you meant reverse headstock [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] ?

Damnit, now I want a Warrior. The JS30 models are going for about $250 - $300 are they not? Mid summer should be able to swing one by then.

Here are some concepts of JS30WR fretboards with inlays as a result of messing around with the Custom Shop Generator and the MS Paint program.

1.) Regular headstock, regular inlays.

2.) Regular headstock, reverse inlays.

3.) Reverse headstock, regular inlays.

4.) Reverse headstock, reverse inlays.

Regardless of which one you pick, it would go perfectly with your reverse headstock string-thru King V project. Might as well get the whole arsenal that includes the Kelly and the Rhoads! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
