Performer Series and Kent Armstrong Pickups

I am talking to a guy about buying a PS4 off him and this got me thinking. I'm sure that at some point I read on here that some PS models were fitted with Kent Armstrong pickups after Jackson and Armstrong did some deal, did I imagine this?

I used to have a PS4 and regretted selling it almost instantly. I've got a fairly good bet on the one I'm looking at so if I can get it that'll take my total up to 3 imports! Yaaasssss!

I got a Kelly JK-20 that had two Kent Armstrongs in it...an M214 in the bridge and an M213 in the neck. THe bridge one was so-so..not clear enough for my taste though.

The M213 on the other hand was THE SHIT!! MUCH better neck pickup for a PAF type tone than a Duncan '59 IMO. It was clearer, and chimier for cleans by a longshot.
