Nice score I really like the trans blue top. [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

The difference is the pickups and number of frets.The SL4 is a two hum 22 fret neck thru.The SL3 is a two single , one hum and 24 fret neck thru.Both or very nice guitars.

Nice looking guitar. I like the chrome Floyd with the deeper blue. I don't know about the chrome p/up rings - the current ones look pretty good and don't detract from the top.

Some chrome pickup rings will make it look very nice, especially on blue.

I used to have an SL3, got rid of it as part of a trade in for An SL2H that I scored. The SL3's and SL4 and really great palying guitars for japaneese imports. Good Stuff. You'll love it until you feel the pull towards and SL1 or and SL2H. Don't fight it. resistance is futile.
