• Silver Hardware on a DK2

I bought a DK-2 in Transparent Red from the music store I work at. It came with satin silver hardware(?). Anybody know anything about this? It's the only silver hardware I've ever seen on a Jackson. (I've since swapped the chrome hardware on my black WRXT for the silver and the Warrior looks badass). So, what's up with the silver hardware?

I forgot to mention that it's pre-Fender. I bought it 2 years ago, and I decided that day to donate my Ibanez S470 to James Murphy's cause.

Yeah, the imports had that satin brushed hardware for a year or two, around '99 or '00. Not sure why they stopped. It's nothing unusual, just a feature they tried and then moved on to straight chrome.

Hey if you ever want to sell those chrome satin parts let me know, I'm a import junkie here on the board. I love all the off the wall Japanese stuff I can get my hands on.
