SLSMG's Now Come with EMG 81 & 85

According to the new pricelist pdf... 2006 SLSMG's will come in 3 colors: Black, Inferno Red, & Satin Black AND come with active EMG's... 81 and an 85. MSRP is roughly $1,500 so it'll probably street at $1,000 or $1,050 or so.

It's about friggin time. They charged like $900 for a guitar w/ all the good stuff: neck-thru, binding, ebony, better quality, and they went cheap on the pickups w/ shit ones. That's good that they're finally putting good stuff on even the cheaper imports now.

where do they put the battery box since the slsmg is so thin around the edges?

I´d assume above the electronics cavity near the string thru holes, where the body´s a bit thicker [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Theres room in the control cavity for a battery.
