Just make sure you get the correct length sustain block.

Indeed it will fit i got the schaller from warmoth for xmas & just put it straight in the route of my Warrior there is a bigger gap at the rear of the route than with the JT580LP but you will soon forget about it especially with a black finish. The only mod i can think of is if you are wanting to use the locking nut that comes with the schaller it sits a little taller than the stock nut that came with the import jacksons. I went ahead & got my neck shimmed for the schaller nut but the stock nut would have worked just fine. If you havent bought the schaller yet & still wanna see it fitted i will take a pic of mine if you like

For a guitar with a recessed trem (like the DK2 for instance), you usually need the shortest length sustain block. You can measure the one on your existing bridge to be sure; That's the length you will need. Traditionally, Shaller trems shipped with the longest block (42mm), for a top-mounted, non-recessed trem. I don't know how they do today, but it's something to keep in mind when buying a bridge replacement.

So the Schaller nut was taller, and you "shimmed" it to make it work?? I'm sure you were thinking right, but just typed it wrong. If you use the Schaller nut you either have to route the nut shelf, or grind the bottom of the nut. I usually grind the nuts....much easier.

Make sure the radius is matched aswell....

Schallers are standard 14in radius ofr's 10in I think Gotoh FRs are 12in, Ibanez/gotoh EDGE trems are 16-17......

                    32mm block for recessed trems...
