Sorry I couldn't keep this to myself, This is a email I just sent to the guy that deals with international sales for Ikebe-Gakki:

"I'm from the United States and I'm interested in ordering the Jackson Stars RR-J2SP from you. Please write back and let me know if this purchase can be accepted."

Since this is all I could think of to write I didn't write anything else, now all I can do is wait until he responds, how long does it usually take? I can't stand it. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

Indeed. I've been waiting for about 4 months for the chance to get this guitar, it's only a couple of weeks away. But I know other people have waited a long ass time for their guitars, I've read about some people who waited over a year for theirs! So 4 months really isn't alot. Plus I bought a nice case and an EMG-81 for it so when it gets here I can treat it with goodies. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]


EDIT: Are there any other reliable online stores that do international sales that have the RR-J2SP in stock? Anyone know?

I can swing by Ishibashi in Yokohama on my way home from work tonight, to see if they have that particular model.
They always have a bunch of RR's there.

I checked Ishibashi's web shop (www.ishibashi.co.jp), and they don't have any RR's listed as being in stock, however. I can ask them if they would give up their store stock for sale through their website, too.

Not to hijack the thread,but they had a polka dot RR that I wanted prety bad.Maybe I should send them a e-mail?!I don't remember the model # (rr2je?).Can I ask them about a polka dot RR or do I need the actual model number?

The only polka dot guitar I see listed in Ikebe's inventory is a King V, rightmost column of the third row in the page below.

If by "new one", you mean it's not being displayed, I don't think that they keep any boxed guitars in a "storage room" or anything like that.

Ikebe said that they would have the guitar in stock at the end of the month, right? That will probably be shipped from the factory to Ikebe, then sent directly to you, unplayed by anyone.
