I saw an ad for this used guitar online a couple of days ago, and pulled the trigger.
My wife sent me an e-mail while I was at work on Friday, and told me that the Eagle had landed.

As soon as my Jackson Stars Custom Order comes in (probably in April or May), my collection will be complete [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
The guitar was shipped with a gig bag, and the original warranty was in the pocket. The original purchase date was Dec 24th, 1999. So I'm assuming that this was a 1999 model.
This is my first neck-through guitar, and also my first guitar with a recessed tremolo.
The action is super low without any fret buzz, which is fantastic for my left hand, but I need to get used to picking with my right hand closer to the surface of the body.
In any case, it's a killer player!
