What would happen to the FF type imports once discontinued? would they decrease or increase in price? i'm wondering whether I should grab a DK2FF while I still can, or go for an RX10D in amber sunburst. I like both guitars but will have to make a choice. The DK2FF is £320, the RX10D in ASB is £345. One thing's for sure - if I go for the RX10D, I'll need an expensive case. The DK2FF is in black only. I could buy one of these guitars at the end of this month, but the other would have to wait a few months later. I did consider getting a DK2 in ASB, but never seem to find an FF inlay neck. Besides, I don't like neck-swapping. I'm tearing my hair out on this one.

Re: DK2FF vs. RX10D ASB
The price on in-stock (new) DK2FFs may go down if retailers put them on clearance sale. It's possible that the demand might go up later, in which case used prices might stay relatively high. However, since the DK2FF doesn't have any fancy hardware or pickups, the only demand would be due to the inlays...and they were available on the DKMGFF also.
I'd get the DK2FF rather than the RX10D.

I'd go for the DK2FF just because I don't like V axes. Either way, these are not "collectors" axes, they are players.

That's what they said about Charvettes, and now those are rare USA-made collector's pieces...handcrafted in Fort Worth! The experts of eBay can't be wrong!
