I'm still kind a new here so I figured I'd post some pics of my RX10D:








I've put the EMG85 at the bridge. Now it has a really good metal tone [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]! The neck pickups is unwired, but I don't really miss one.
That's my first and only Jackson (hope it's not last), had it for about 8 months now and I really like her! I also have a Ibanez RG which I bought last month, but I'm selling it cause it's sh*t compared to this Jackson. Next one is for sure gonna be a Jackson (possibly the same Jackson Stars as blindvomit has :P).

Cool! I think my next guitar's gonna be a Rhoads or a Kelly. I'd really like an RR5 but don't think I can afford it right now. I want a non-floyd Rhoads. I wish Jackson made a non-floyd Rhoads between the JS series and the RR5.
I guess I'd like a non-floyd Rhoads or Kelly around the MG series with a single
EMG humbucker [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img]

i'm still pondering over whether i should buy an rx10d in amber sunburst. is £345 incl. delivery excl. case a good deal or a ripoff?

Depends, tbh I cant seea RR3 being all that much better other than the new ones with upgraded pups and blk hardware if you really want it, 345 sounds pretty ok for a uk price...

Nazgul that RR is sweet I love the RX10D's simplicity....

I dont think it looks bad either with chrome hardware in black....

it's the old one with chrome hardware that i've seen. i'm not aware of the rx10d being re-released with real duncans.

Thanx for replies! I paid £270 for it used without the EMG. And the original Jackson molded case cost another £150, so I guess that's a good deal unlucky!

£150 for the case - was that new? where'd you get that from? the rrp is around £200 (just like my warrior case - hefty price deal £175).

If I get a RR, ill be getting the gator extreme case possibly the camo one its fairly cheap and will fir other types of alrge and pointy axes of doom...

i know it's only £80 but imho, i hated the gator extreme. the pads didn't stay put and the case itself was tacky and poorly balanced. have a look for that multi-fit jackson case. its around £110-ish and fits RR, KV, WR, and KE's. not sure if it has a mould inside so check first.

I used to have RX10D and it´s excellent axe! Easy to play and stays in tune quite good [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
