Hi.
Right now I am trying a get any information about my jackson infinity xl guitar I bought as a teenager about ten years ago. For the last five year I didnot have an occasion to practise, but last week I tried to play again and experienced that the electronic isnot in a good condition. The guitar dealer told me that the repair will cost about 150 dollars. So I am trying to find out whether the guitar is worth to invest that amount of money.

So I would be very glad if You can tell me something about my guitar anbd maybe answer questions like where, when and how many guitars have been produced (?), is it reguarded as a good guitar(?) is it there something special about it(?), whats worth of the guitar (?).Further I would be glad getting somebody to know, who plays the same guitar.
Unfortunately I have got no pictures oder serial nr. at the moment because i am working far away from home, perhaps my description may help.
- body: blue metallic, color is changing from nearly black to blue metallic by angle of light, the egde is ivory colored
- pickups: jackson humbuckers, one can be split to single coil, by pulling volume controller wheel
- two black controller wheels (tone and volume)
- black floydrose tremolo
- looks quite similar to infinty pro in the gallery... but has no special inlays, the wood seems to be a littler different.
