• DX-10

Just bought the DX-10 with licensed FR trem. Seem to have trouble keeping it in tune after major whammy action. Dealer assured me intonation was set at factory. Any suggestions? No manual came with the guitar.

I'm going to say that the simplest problem could be the trem springs are a little on the loose side. Tighten the trem springs as needed, and see if that helps.

Did you stretch the strings before you whammed? If it is a brand new guitar, you need to play it for awhile before you mess with the set-up. That being said, I would buy new strings. Then, I would fuck with it until you got what you like. A factory set-up don't mean squat.

If it really is a DX-10, not DX-10D, then the bridge is single locking instead of double locking. And that's not cool at all. Actually I would be more surprised if the thing actually stayed in tune after major whammy action.
