A local pawnshop here has a Jackson DR3 (well... the older DX10D with the toggle switch) for 950 British pounds. Do the calculations if you want. But you'll be very scared... Sorry just a funny story, carry on.

That is an absolutely retarded price for that guitar.
Good guitar though, I used to have one...
If it had a nicer trem, and not a rosewood board, I probably would have upgraded the pups and kept it.

my local retailer took in a 3rd hand (yes, the last buyer took a week to realise he'd been ripped off and got a refund) dx10dfs, tried to call it a soloist and priced it at £600. when i told them what it really was, they put it at what it would have cost when released new at £450. it's been in the shop over two years now, and still no-one's stupid enough to buy it. apparantly, the moron who took it in gave the original owner too much money and consequently failed in his attempt to recover the mark up. its a uk concept - shit service, greedy over-pricing and "screw the customer where possible". from what i gather, this is a far cry from the service the vast majority of americans get (unless they happen to be stupid enough to come over here to this "united kingdom" of chavs).
