I know the dkmg has an arched top but does it have special curved bottom pickup rings(like a les paul)? Or does it just use regulat flat ones and just kind of bend them for the small arch that it has?

I own a DKMGT and a DKMG. I just checked both of em and it looks like flat rings are on em. There doesn't appear to be much of an arc at that point.

Les Pauls don't have arched rings (at least none of my 4 do). They "bend" as you carefully crank down on the screws. Eventually, they might break in the middle - an LP Custom I bought came with broken rings like this (not the original rings, however).

Well...nearly. The neck pup ring is actually bent a little, but that seems to have occurred after assembly, and it leaves a tiny gap between the guitar surface and the bezel. If I press down on it, the pup ring flattens back down and matches the top.

Maybe it's possible during the "cheap" years that Gibson used less of a quality ring but 9 out of 10, they're radiused on the bottom as well as angled.
Bane is absolutely correct on the 750 as it has a flat "shelf" for the rings. Now on the old archtop soloists, those are indeed carved all the way to the center like a les paul so what they did was just take the standard oversized rings and cut the proper radii into the bottoms to fit. If they didn't, THOSE would have definitely broke as they were SO thin.
Unfortunately I know nothing about the DKMG so I guess I should go now....Dave ->
