IMHO, the tonal difference between maple and other fingerboards is negligible... the reason I prefer maple (and ebony second) is for the look and feel. To me, that's a big enough reason to choose it over rosewood.

1 hum or 1hum/1sc would be a closer for me! I'll take one of each. The DK2LE I have is a tad on the light side. Maybe a run with Mahogany bodies! One can only hope.Comment
