SLSMG in trans Black

Hi all,

i'm a new french guy and an old jackson fan. My first guitar is a KE3R.

I buy on ebay a SLSMG in trans black. It's a very good guitar (i will juste change HZ for 60/81 EMGs) and i find that is the best import jackson except the professionnal pro series.

I have no idea when my guitar was product (serial number : 032015) and the seller said to me that is only a limited run of 200 SLSMG in trans black and trans red.

Can you give me some informations.?

I beleive yours was made in 2003. 100 Red 100 Black flametops made. Was a Musicians Friend exclusive guitar but some how other dealers ended up with a few of them. Nice guitar. You will love it. I have a Red one.

@spencer4hire : Thanks a lot for your answer. With the serial number, i think it was 2003 but not sure.
I love the red one too, but i miss it on Ebay. So i take the black.

I take pictures quickly when i received the guitar. And now i dont have enough time to take new pictures.

Thanks Sunbane. I haved and i tried some import jackson (DKMG-T, kelly Std, KV std, PS3-T, RX10D, PS4, etc...) and i keep only my first guitar : KE3-R in dark metallic blue and this new one SLSMG.

bloddy 'ell! bound body and matching headstock finish too. those should be standard spec, not a limited run.

That guitar is on my GAS list now!

This guitar is very near the US models. I have an ESP horizon FR 2 and no difference between this 2 guitars.

The body is very thin like you can see. It's close to Ibanez Sabre i think.

Like the name, lightweight so you can play with it without neck matter...

I love it.

I think i will buy the red one too.

Juste one thing, you must think when you buy this guitar that you need to change pickup. H3 was good but not enough.
