    Nice guitar man!!

And to the union labor comment. I guess that's why the NON-union stooges at McDonald's drive-thru always get my order correct? This country would be complete shit had it not been for union labor and the current trend is certainly following a downward spiral--with demise of strong unions.

    Sorry for the rant

A Dinky neck being beefy?!? That's different. They're thin, like one step above an Ibanez Wizard. Have they started making them thicker now?
BTW, nice guitar. Love the color!!!

I think they should allow a few options in the making of the guitars, but there would be some logistics to it that would be difficult. Like, a floyd obviously costs more than a tunamatic, and 2 hums obviously cost more than 1 hum. They could probably still charge just as much, and people who liked it would buy it.

That said, how would they know how many to make, just like 50/50 batch? How customizable do you get? then again, they have like 80,000,000,000,000,000,000 different types of strats.

Yeah, new neck is beefy. My friend played her and said it was too fat for him. I would say it is almost identical to my sl2ht. Very much like an LP but wider.

I am a Teamster and proud of it!! I work very hard and take pride in my work. Anyway, John, I know there is the DK2T, but I would like the maple and black sharkies and black binding, that`s where it`s at man I don`t use neck pickups, but I could live with it if they make a DK2MT. Jack.

Slayer Amen to that! You know, slightly off topic, but I think that like, it depends on where you live on how you feel about the unions. Yeah we've got them all across the states, but there are more places that are more union than others. PA happens to be one of them.

I would hardly say the country in in a downward spiral because of the lack of good Unions. It would depend on who the union is actually looking out for and if they are actually using thier brains to detrmine if the union is worth a damn. If they see a company is struggling like the Airline Industry unions did and was able to negotiate a pay cut, they did the workers good. In the case of the Auto Workers Unions going on strike back in the mid 90's when the average line worker made $44 an hour, look where a lot of those workers are now. Unemployed. My mom works for a Hospital and she had to get the Union involved a few times with a boss of hers. She would have been screwed without the Union. Last time I was in a union, someone working right beside me made around 30% more than me just because they had been there longer. I could basicly work circles around them, but because the Union dictated the pay scale, I was screwed. So there is good and bad in Unions.

I agree with that, and have seen that at other Union places, man I wouldn`t want to work there I work at a small place and we all make the same, the only thing that makes me mad is the older guys can get 5 weeks vacation and half of us can only get 4, they got threatened into getting that in the contract back in 1992 before I started there,I will try to change that in the years to come Jack.

i worked for one company who stated in their contract that they don't recognise any union. worse yet, there were two employees with similar names and some dippy bitch sacked the wrong one! she then got in a right strop because the innocent worker took legal action. well duhhhh!!! if employers were actually decent enough, people wouldn't need unions.

There are certainly MANY problems with unions and I acknowledge that however, fundamentally they exist to oversee the rights and wages of the rank & file. Capitalism is a greedy beast and believe it or not unions are only mitigational entities designed to protect the very structure of capitalism itself. Unfortunately, many unions have lost sight of their ideological goals and have been corrupted, from the inside, by those they seek to challenge. I guess that's why I support the main idea of the IWW (except I don't want to abolish the wage system). The bad examples of union members such as those who use the union for protection when they simply won't work, are rare exceptions to the norm. Much like the face of welfare--you only see the "bad" examples.
