I got my RR3 a week beofre easter and it was a 05 model. Really wierd. Especially because I had to wait four months on it.

I'd have specified which year-model I wanted when ordering. I'm quite sure there'd be a difference in price, because the spec is different, even if seemingly minimal. But if say, you paid the RRP of 2006 and got a 2005, I'd be inclined to get the retailer to correct the problem with the right replacement. Sorry to hear you had to wait 4 months. I gave up after 2 months and bought something else.

If it was sold as "New" and you expected a 2006, I'd call the dealer and see if they'll swap it. However, if the price was ridiculously low, then they were probably trying to sell off the old models they had in stock.
