Are DXMG's built just as good as the rest of the MG line?

I know they started of being made in india and part of the X-series, but it seems like it slowly started to become a solid guitar when it became Japan made and now the revised 06 model with the new trem looks mighty tasty. I was set on a DK2t, but I would be paying $50 more and ditching those duncans anyways. With the DXMG I can just add a single EMG-81 and have a neck pickup to match it even though I will uninstall everything, but the EMG-81 and volume knob. For $499 it's a steal.

2002 to current (MIJ) DXMGs are a great, great axe. I have a 2003 and it's high quality. Go for it.

As Ron said, since '02 DXMG has been Japan made & up to par w/ the RR3 DKMGs, DK2s & other recent MIJ Jackson guitars.

I can see why so many bought a DXMG, then kitted it out with the 81/85 pair. DXMG £350, EMG81/85 set £150-ish. That's still less than a brand new 2005 DKMG. From what I've seen, most people prefer sharkies over pirahnas.
