Very picture heavy.
I apologize, I usually take better pictures, but I don't have my tripod (broke) and I've not bought a new one. My hands aren't as steady as needed for no flash in low light photography (lighting in my house sucks).
Okay I can't play it right now, but I did go up and down the neck a little bit. It feels slick! It's great. The action needs adjusted, and the guitar needs setup (Fender/Jackson has not so hot set ups from the factory, at least this is my experience and my opinion).
I was a little upset at the dinged headstock, though it's small, I want to be the one that puts the first mark on my guitar. I guess that's Jacksons way of making sure something is dinged/not right on my instruments.
For safe measure I took a picture of the scarf joint...it's good.
I can't plug it in right now to tell you how it sounds, but I imagine it will be bright and will cut through the mix.
The inlays are smooth and blend nicely with the wood, you cannot feel where they start and where they end.
The logo is some water slide thing, with maybe a light coat of clear on it. You can feel the logo through it, and it seems like it would scrape off easilly.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, and will be more happy when I get to play it in 2 weeks.
