Does anyone that owns a DK2M have any experience with a DK2LE? Wondering how they compare. I love my DK2LE neck and wouldn't want it to be any thinner than that as that's become like the perfect thickness I prefer.

Definitions of neck thickness vary a LOT around here. The only Jackson I ever played that was too thin was a KV2, and my mid `90s SL2 (no inlay version) has about the thickest/roundest neck I can comfortably play. The DK2M feels virtually identical to my Dinky XL - thin but not too thin.

My DK2M is just like that. I'm getting ready to take out the tone knob, put in a kill switch, take out the JB and put in a Duncan Distortion, and put a RS Guitarworks 500k Superpot in the volume. Then I think it will be ready for my style of playing, 80s metal.Last edited by Holy Diver; 10-08-2007, 04:27 PM."Hard work is for people short on talent." -George Carlin
