fretwork seems good on it. Once I can play it a little bit I'll give you a much better review.
The only complaint I'd say right noe is that the trem springs are loud. Like loud!

Nil, i have to look, but it was like 9753874 or something like that. I know it's a 7 digit number, with 975 at the front of it.

My old style DK2 had a Wizard type neck on it, but my now gone DK2LE had a medium rounded neck, a little beefy and nice. I was hoping the new ones all had the beefier neck, maybe they just differ if they are hand finished? Jack.

The guitars looks great. I have a question about the control cavity. Are pots recessed? It looks like the cavity has a whole new shape as well. Interesting, thanks for the pix.
              Just one more guitar!

Thanks, I just wondered if they started to give different serials with new imports

That is a new control cavity route for sure.

Am I to expect the same neck profile on a DK2M as a 2005 DK2/DX-- or a 2005 DK/WRMG or a thickness in between those two? Some members here seem to have different opinions as to whether they are "thin" or "beefy".

That's certainly possible. Epi Elitist LP necks vary pretty wildly, since whomever finishes each one seems to be free to choose the depth and backshape details. The only thing I haven't seen on an Elitist yet is a V profile.

Your DK2M has a thin neck? That's the best news I've heard all day.

I just ordered a DK2M, and I love THIN necks, so I'm hoping mine is Wizard thin. I read specs for the DK2M on some web site that mentioned .735" at the first fret, which would be very thin - perfect IMO. Here's hoping mine is a thin one!

I can´t stand thin neck´s. I had to sell my professional soloist pro because of that. For most of people thin neck work though.
