Can anyone suggest a good source to buy a new truss rod cover, spring plate, and screws?

I think I'm gunna head over to the Carvin store to see if they have any OFR's in stock

Haha. After 2,5 sleep I'm better now...

Serial number should be on metal plate where you screw the neck into the neck pocket. (how do you call that?..I forgot)

Update! I just bought a Floyd Rose Original from Carvin. I've officially spent double on the bridge what I paid for the guitar itself! :ROTF:

                    nice score...
but with an OFR...you are gonna have some issues pulling back ...and possible intonation problems as well

Really? Hmmm ... I was under the impression it was a direct replacement.

                        Really cool for $150

I saw a Carvin V220 neckthrough on craiglist for $200, but the guy didnt want to ship.. unfortunate.

                          i am probably wrong ..
but from the pix it look like the locking screws will overshoot the cavity

I just measured my OFR's vs. the Jackson licensed floyd on the KE3 ... the KE3's floyd cavity is actually longer than the OFR's!

I always wished I could have a spycam focused on a pawn shop. Every time I'd see a crackhead go in with an axe, I'd sprint down there and then offer $20 more than what they'd offer.
