  • Help needed identifying Jackson

    Board newbie here.

I came upon a deal and the seller is dropping the price if I purchase today. Jackson with hockey-stick headstock (not reverse), dot inlays, single Humbucker, labeled "Professional" on the headstock, single tone control, Wilkinson tremolo (missing the trem arm), looks like all-maple neck/fretboard, looks like ash body with a light-creme paint that still shows the wood grain, shaped Strat-style body.

Frets show typical wear for a 10-15 year old guitar, with very few nicks. I love the sound of the single humbucker, but do not want to blow the cash. $230 as it sets.

    Thanks for the help.

Impossible to tell without pics I'm afraid.
Is it really a one pickup guitar? With a full strat body (Fender style) and a wilkinson? In that case I'd guess it's a parts mutt of some sort, definitely not an original Jackson.

it's a JRS-2. That light creme paint sounds like trans white.
      Hail yesterday
