Where is this PS-4 made?

I have a PS-4 that I bought new in 1999. The serial # starts with 9, it has offset dots on the neck and it was made in Japan.

I remember hearing that Made in Japan PS-4 had serial beggining with 9. I wonder if he body control cavity wouldn't help identify the origin. There are two different shapes to the control cavities on PS4's
