  • One more newb here with newb question(s)

Yo ! Stephane, french metalhead. I've heard about this board from Hellswrath and Zebutcher. I've owned 3 Jacksons (DR3, DK2S, and Hellswrath's KB) and I must say that I've never been disappointed with those ones, and that's why I want to learn more about Jackson in order to get myself one that would give me entire satifaction.
Though my english is far far from perfect, don't hesitate to correct me

So here we start with a first question.

I don't remember if there was Rhoads STD with Neckthru, so could this one be a Pro one with a wrong truss rod cover ?

The STD and the Pro were both neck-thru. They are both from the early nineties Professional series. The Pro had sharkies and binding, the STD with dots and no binding. Still a nice guitar though.

Welcome Valeck/Stephane(?) I think you already checked my site, but did you find this: http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/JacksonRhoadsInfo.htm

I have written up all the info on the different Rhoads Professional Series from early 1990.

The Rhoads in the auction looks like an all original STD except for the pickups. It's a high quality guitar, quartersawn neck and all.
